About Mirna

I welcome the opportunity to walk with you on this journey to a happier and more fulfilling life. As your therapist, my main goal, is to help you identify the areas in your life that you would like to change and together develop a plan to achieve those goals. I will provide a safe environment for you to process utilizing diverse counseling techniques tailored to your needs.


I am fluent in English and Spanish. I specialize in the treatment of a variety of issues associated with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, child/adolescent development and parenting. I have 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a school setting. My experience as a school counselor allows me to work effectively with families and school related issue. I also have extensive experience working with victims of domestic violence and providing grief counseling. I am CISM (Critical Incident Stress Debriefing) trained and a Love and Logic facilitator.
